Hussein Chalayan to launch second clothes line

Hussein Chalayan is engulfed in his brand’s renewal. The main idea of the designer is to establish a stronger connection with the brand’s clients.

Next spring will see the launch of another clothes line named Grey Label. The line will include knitted garments, dresses, trousers and overcoats, plus bags and eyeglasses as accessories. The new line will sell at moderate prices (from $150 to $700), but each piece will be made in Hussein Chalayan’s trademark style.

The brand’s name is also changing from ‘Hussein Chalayan’ to ’Chalayan’. According to the designer, the new name will make a greater impact and will stand out more.
