Mulbery bags fourfold profit

British brand Mulberry reported this year’s hefty profit of 23.3 million pounds sterling – a breathtaking four-time growth from last year’s 5.1 million.

Experts say Mulberry’s bags have become very  popular – the company even expanded its production by hiring more workforce for its Somerset plant. Other factors that did the trick were probably the move to open a new boutique in New Bond Street, London, and growth of online sales.

Mulberry boasts a 40-year-long history. According to the company’s CEO Godfrey Davis, the company is set on expansion of its retail chain, and they are looking towards the East as well.
